The BOMA Fund is committed to working with community organizations in Northern Kenya as an efficient means of poverty alleviation.  From small grants for micro-enterprise projects to the Christmas ornament beading project by the women’s groups of the rural villages, BOMA celebrates and supports the important contributions that these self-help groups make in sustaining the health of families and communities in rural areas.

Joseph Lemasolai Lekuton, a member of the local Ariaal people, is also the recently elected Member of Parliament for much of the area that BOMA serves.  He is actively involved in improving conditions for all his people.  BOMA and Joseph Lekuton have forged a unique public / private partnership that encourages accountability and self-reliance.  Click here to learn more.
